The white-domed building at the center is the US Capitol. In front of the Capitol: (right) with a pale-beige roof and a portico is the Supreme Court; (left) with a blue-gray dome and roof is the Library of Congress’s Thomas Jefferson Bldg. (Bottom-middle of photo)
In front to the Jefferson Building are two more Library buildings: (left) the large pale-blue one is the Adams Bldg., and (right)the small gray one is the Shakespeare Library. (Lower left of photo) The massive gray block is the Library’s Madison Bldg.
Behind the Madison Building and to the left of the Capitol are the three House Office Buildings. (Right of photo) To the right of the Capitol and Supreme Court, the pair of rectangular buildings with pale-blue roofs and inner courtyards are the Senate Office Buildings.
Together with the House offices, they are the congressional office buildings.
