Spar stort: Kjøkkenutstyret du kupper på tilbud nå

Kinesiske turarrangører må avlyse gruppereiser til Nord-Korea fordi hoteller i hovedstaden Pyongyang er stengt fram til feiringen av landets 70-årsjubileum, melder NRK. 
Turarrangørene skal ha fått beskjed om at alle hoteller er stengt i 20 dager fra og med lørdag 11 august.

Nord-Korea, offisielt Den demokratiske folkerepublikken Korea, ble opprettet 9.august 1948 av Kim Il-sung, bestefar til dagens leder Kim Jong-un.

Den årlige politiske uka Almedalsveckan var inspirasjonen da Arendalsuka ble startet for sju år siden.
Nå er den norske versjonen større, målt i antall besøkende, og hele 1067 ulike arrangement, noe som er ny rekord. 
Svenskene har imidlertid flere arrangementer, skriver VG.no

Almedalsveckan blir arrangert i Visby på Gotland, og gikk første gang av stabelen i 1968.

Saudi-Arabias statlige flyselskap Saudi (Saudi Arabia Airlines) innstiller alle flyvninger til og fra Toronto i Canada, melder Reuters, ifølge NRK. 
Regjeringen i Saudi-Arabia har brutt de diplomatiske forbindelsene og stanset investeringer og handel med Canada, etter at Canada ba landet løslate menneskerettighetsaktivister.

Saudi-Arabia har utvist Canadas ambassadør i Riyadh, og henter hjem sin ambassadør i Ottawa.

Videre skal 7000 saudiske studenter i Canada flyttes til universiteter i andre land.

Samferdselsminister Ketil Solvik-Olsen (Frp) erkjenner at det kan bli aktuelt å stramme inn regelverket for bruk av vannskuter, men sier det ikke er aktuelt med det forbud, melder NRK.
