Libya’s Presidential Council (PC) member Ahmed Mitig met with the non-resident ambassador of The Netherlands to Libya, Eric Starting, in Tripoli on Monday and discussed issues of mutual interest, the Libya Observer website reported,
According to the media office of the PC, Mr Mitig urged The Netherlands to cooperate with Libya in economic and health projects, adding that 2018 will see resumption of suspended projects.
Ambassador Starting, however; announced opening a diplomatic office in Tripoli to pave the way for the return of The Netherlands embassy to Libya, pointing out his country’s willingness to help Libyans overcome the current multifarious dilemma.

Lithuania’s has opened it’s 8th honorary consulate in Sweden, in the city of Linkoping, south of the capital Stockholm, the Baltictimes.com website reported,

Mr Ulrik Lindblad has been appointed as honorary consul and assigned the consular unit of the Ostergotland county, the Foreign Ministry of Lithuania said. During the opening ceremony, Lithuanian ambassador to Sweden, Mr Algimantas Rimkunas, noted that the honorary consulate in Linkoping, which is known for the Saab corporation and other companies working in the field of modern technologies, as well as a university, would provide good cooperation conditions with Lithuanian companies.

Tanzania has opened an embassy in South Korea (Republic of Korea) for the first time since the two countries established diplomatic ties more than two decades ago, the Yonhap News Agency reported.
The embassy is located in Yongsan, central Seoul. Tanzania has appointed Matilda Swilla Masuka as its ambassador to South Korea.
South Korea established diplomatic relations with Tanzania in 1992. Tanzania has diplomatic ties with North Korea as well.
South Korea opened its embassy in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania in October of the same year but Tanzania has not run a stand-alone embassy in Seoul, having its ambassador to Japan concurrently serve as ambassador to the Republic of Korea.
