Jakkene som får frem vårfølelsen

Kollektivselskapet Ruter i Oslo ønsker å kjøpe 10-50 selvkjørende busser i løpet av året, skriver VG, som siterer Aftenposten. 

Førerløse biler må bli tillatt før Ruter kan begynne med det. Et lovforslag er varslet i løpet av våren.

– Jeg tror nok det er for optimistisk at dette er oppe og går i 2017, men vi vil være i gang med det i 2018, sier Endre Angelvik, Ruters direktør mobilitetstjenester, til Aftenposten.

Guatemala has opened an embassy in the Turkish capital city Ankara on Wednesday, the Anadolu News Agency reported.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, speaking during the opening ceremony said: “Today we open a new chapter in our relations with Guatemala.”

Before the opening ceremony, Cavusoglu and Guatemalan Foreign Minister Carlos Raul Morales held a joint press conference.

“I want to thank very much for the cooperation of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency [TIKA] which has exhibited on health, education and security in our country. Guatemalan people notice this support,” Morales stressed.

Morales congratulated Turkey over Sunday’s referendum result and said it will contribute to the strengthening of democracy in Turkey.

Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu also noted that they will continue to support development projects in Guatemala via TIKA.

Turkey opened an embassy in Guatemala two years ago.

Singapore blir Norwegians andre asiatiske destinasjon. Lavprisselskapet flyr allerede til Thailands hovedstad Bangkok fra Oslo, Stockholm og København. Avgangene til Singapore korresponderer ifølge en pressemelding godt med Norwegians flygninger fra Oslo, Bergen og Stavanger til London, som gjør at reisende fra Norge også lett kan benytte seg av det nye rutetilbudet.

– Våre langdistanseruter er svært populære med en fyllingsgrad på over 90 prosent. Dette beviser at kunder ønsker enda flere langdistanseruter til lave priser. Det er derfor med stor glede at vi lanserer vår første rute til Singapore, sier Norwegians konsernsjef Bjørn Kjos.

Norwegian vil fly fire ganger i uken mellom London og Singapore. Fra oktober vil selskapet fly fem ganger per uke.

Det er selskapets 787 Dreamliner som skal betjene Singapore-ruten.

Norge oppretter nye ambassader i Tunis i Tunisia og Bamako i Mali. Det fortalte utenriksminister Børge Brende (H) under et foredrag om Veivalgsmeldingen i norsk utenriks- og sikkerhetspolitikk, skriver VG.

Norge har tidligere hatt ambassade i Tunisia, den ble senere lagt ned og flyttet til nabolandet Algerie, og Norge har vært representert i Tunis med et honorært generalkonsulat.

The embassy of Morocco in Kigali, capital city of Rwanda, has been officially opened in the presence of the Rwandan Foreign Minister Louise Mushikiwabo and the Ambassador of Morocco, Youssef Imani, who both took part in the official hoisting of the Moroccan flag at the new embassy in the Nyarutarama district of the Rwandan capital, the The New Times website reported.

The embassy has been operational since February this year, but was officially opened on 14 April.
