An Instagram user armed with paper cutouts has created some of the most creative pics of Paris that we’ve ever seen. And he’s currently in the French capital. Take a closer look.
We’ve all seen the tourist snaps of the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre museum.
But never like this.
Take a look through the feed of Rich McCor, who is currently travelling through Paris as part of a world tour. He uses paper cutouts to show another side of some of the world’s most famous landmarks.

The movement is changing the landscape of the traditional city break, with more visitors wanting to explore areas outside the mainstream, capitalfm.co.ke reports.
Many cities are encouraging the boom, as it diversifies urban attractions and helps to avoid the growing problem of overcrowded city centres.
A “hipster” can be defines as a person who follows the latest trends and fashions, especially those outside the cultural mainstream. Hipsters live in “edgier” areas and are seeking out these neighbourhoods to experience hipster culture such as pop-up restaurants, vegan cafes, independent shops and crafts galleries.
A new demand for “hipster holidays” was identified at the WTM Global Trends Report 2015, released Monday at World Travel Market in London.
There appears to be a battle among European cities for the title of “hipster capital”. But while many places lay claim to the accolade, leading areas include Kreuzberg in Berlin, District VII in Budapest and Miera iela in Riga.
Local residents are spotting new business opportunities, providing authentic hipster tours of specific city districts, while online travel guides including Likealocal and TravelsofAdam, list up-to-date reviews of the ever-changing hipster scene.

Cuba has opened its embassy here, making Singapore the 125th country in which the Caribbean island has a consular presence, straitstimes.com reported.
The embassy, at King’s Centre along Havelock Road, was launched yesterday. It was officiated by Ambassador Roberto Blanco Dominguez (facing the camera), First Deputy Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina Gonzalez, and Singapore’s Second Permanent Secretary with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Albert Chua.

De største reisetrendene fra Tickets respons analyse-undersøkelse: Colombo, hovedstaden på Sri Lanka, og Dubai i De forente arabiske emirater, er vinterens raketter blant reisemålene og Grand Canaria er nordmenns favorittreisemål. Det kjølige sommerværet påvirker til økt reiselyst i vinter. 12 prosent oppgir at sommerværet har påvirket vinterens reiseplaner, skriver boarding.no
Det kjølige sommerværet påvirker reisebestillingene. 14 prosent fler har bestilt vinterreise enn ved samme tid i fjor og 9 prosent flere har bestilt ferien for neste sommer. Det viser fersk bestillings statistikk fra Ticket Feriereiser.
– Det er sol, bad og varme reisemål som gjelder i vinter på grunn av det kjølige sommerværet. Fler enn vanlig vil reise i vinter, sier Ellen Wolff Andresen, markedssjef i Ticket Feriereiser i en pressemelding.
12 prosent sier at det kjølige sommerværet har påvirket vinterens reiseplaner. 5 prosent sier at været har gjort at de vil overveie en vinterreise som ellers ikke ville vært aktuell og 3 prosent mener at de høyere grad kommer til å søke seg mot varmere reisemål.
Spania er det mest populære ferielandet i vinter og Colombo er det reisemålet som øker mest i vinter med en økning på 227 prosent og bidrar til at Sri Lanka inntar 20 plassen over mest bestilte land. Dubai er også et raskt voksende reisemål og øker med 63 prosent i vinter. Dubai er et reisemål med spektakulære opplevelser, som tilbyr sol og bad i kombinasjon med storbyliv.
Både Miami og Fort Lauderdale går forbi New York på topplisten over de mest bestilte reisemålene i USA i vinter. De har en økning på 34 og 17 prosent. Det er kombinasjonen av sol og storby som lokker oss til Florida. Disse reisemålene øker mye da cruise i Karibien fortsatt er en populær ferieform. Ettersom mange cruiseskip går fra ulike havner i Florida så kombinerer mange gjerne sin cruiseferie med en uke på stranden her.
Dubai er vinterens komet på cruisehimmelen. Stadig flere cruiserederier satser på cruise fra Dubai, samtidig som flere reisende velger å kombinere besøket i Dubai med cruise. Fra San Juan på Puerto Rico har bestilte cruise økt med over hundre prosent. Mye takket være Norwegians nye rute til Puerto Rico som gjør det lettere å cruise i det sørlige Karibien. Mest populært er fortsatt cruise fra ulike havner i Florida, som også øker kraftig. Totalt sett har cruisebestillingene i vinter økt med 45 prosent.

The Hellenic Police has launched its tourist police Visitors? Help Office in Athens, completing a plan initiated by the previous leadership of the civil protection ministry, in collaboration with the Greek hoteliers? chamber, according to the greekreporter.com
Inaugurated on Saturday, the new help desk seeks to assist tourists visiting Greece, providing them with necessary guidelines and information of a police and more general tourist interest. It is also envisaged as a service to manage and rapidly response to the more common problems or incidents that arise involving foreign visitors, such as loss of travel documents, thefts and the issue of necessary certificates, reports and other documents.
The Help Office is manned by specially trained staff that speak foreign languages and is located near Klafthmonos Square in central Athens, in an arcade at 4 Dragatsaniou Street.
It will operate on a full-time basis throughout the year, between the hours of 7:30 am and 10 pm, and can be contacted at the telephone numbers 210 3222230 and 210 3222232.
