The famous and popular Finikoudes (Phinikoudes) or Larnaca Beach, a Blue Flag beach, in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The half a kilometre beach runs along the busy seafront promenade, formally known as Athens (Athenon) Avenue, the heart of the cosmopolitan city.
The beach, one of the most famous in Cyprus, is named after the small palm trees planted along the promenade in 1922.
The beach is very clean, and is maintaned by Larnaca Municipality, who provide the summer lifeguard service.
