Dobbelt så mange elefanter jobber i Thailands turistindustri som i resten av Asia til sammen, ifølge en ny rapport fra World Animal Protection ifølge AFP, skriver VG Direkte
Av 2923 elefanter som er dokumentert i Asias turistnæring, ble 2198 elefanter registrert i Thailand alene. Av rapporten går det frem at elefantene lever under «svært mangelfulle forhold».
