Hagia Sophia, Istanbul’s most famous landmark and biggest tourist attraction, which has been both a cathedral and a mosque, can once again become a mosque, according to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In a TV interview on Sunday, he opened to change the status of the almost 1,500-year-old building, which today is a museum.
